Nikitash Definitely one of the most intriguing and remarkable releases of the year. An explosive blend of post rock, punk and jazz through a highly artistic spectrum that boasts superb songwriting and intense emotional moments.
Favorite track: Kakistocracy.

vacant planet a breath of fresh air for the post-rock scene. less reliant on twinkly crescendos and more on driving grooves and exciting sax melodies. FFO: DoMakeSayThink
Dan Curhan

Dan Curhan A delightfully artful post-rock EP that follows in the vein of Ashenspire's sax-filled psychedelia and theatrical vocals, albeit it in a much more listenable package. It's intricate and nuanced, with big dynamics and sparse vocals. There's tons of saxophone, integrated as a core element of the band's musical identity, and the songs are unpredictable yet organic, flowing through waves of emotion and soundscapes with fluidity. This is fantastic, and well worth your time.

Thunder 05:16
The rain falls like soldiers Over stone rivers and barren lands Loaded phrases are fired They strike from the tongues that command Flashes of lightning split the air like bullets Defiant they stand A storm raging down The ground shakes in God's hands The sky is alive with thunder The sky is alive with thunder The sky is alive with thunder The world is electric This world is electric The sky is alive with thunder This world is electric This world is electric Took so much Took a home Took a life In a moment When it seems all but hopeless Let vision stay focused

Blind Spot 05:00
So we moved to the border Some moons ago Where it got so cold As the mist rose Confined So soon I been far from home From a war zone You see my wings they're broke like trust Can't fly cos I see borderlines As bombs they rain again again No ounce of shame no change of face You, you'll never save us And you, you'll never save us Love cries, you, you'll never save us And you, you'll never save us

Kakistocracy 06:42
Caged by the darkness Enlighten my soul I think but it's all told I am not alone When the words fly the meaning grows old Still I don't know Still I don't know It was your lies That bought time A battle cry Until the love dies With your trade deals New hospitals And its more lies I got more lies Now I can't see And i cant breathe Cos of your lies Cos of your lies Now I can't see And I can't breathe Cos of your lies Cos of your lies
